April – June- Keep fresh water available at all times
- Avoid walks during peak heat (11 AM – 4 PM)
- Watch for signs of heat stroke: panting, drooling

July – September- Dry your pet thoroughly after every walk

- Anti-tick and anti-flea treatment every month
- Prevent fungal infections with regular grooming
- Keep bedding clean and dry at all times
